Louise and Yannick

Yannick

Gardener of Life

Yannick set up as an organic market gardener in February 2007 on a 5-hectare meadow. A true enthusiast, he grows our vegetables on 1.32 hectares, using marsh hay to enrich the soil. He runs the stall at the Thursday market in St Même le Tenu. Yannick never tires of discovering new things and loves to share and exchange ideas, whilst keeping a close eye on the vegetables he tends to with such care every day.

Louise

Nature’s Messenger

A born organiser, Louise joined the farm in 2011 as a market gardener, order picker, harvester and sales assistant. In 2015, after four years with her hands in the soil, she pursued her original dream: to create a home! She opened the Farm Camping site and partnered with CEMEA Pays de Loire to set up a summer holiday centre where children can stay in tents. Having trained in Nature-Based Education in 2018, she launched the ‘Hulotte’ and ‘Ciboulette’ workshops. An active member of Accueil Paysan Pays de Loire and co-chair of the Vendée branch, she welcomes groups, artists and families to the garden all year round for nature-based workshops and runs training sessions to help people connect with the outdoors.

There’s a little game hidden on our website – it’s up to you to find it…!
